Final day of the term Half-term holiday at the end of May and I'm preparing the postings for the rest of the term. As these will be my last few weeks doing this I thought I'd finish and look back at a couple of favourite items from the past year or so.
I started doing 'theme' weeks back in October 2002 and an early theme was "Odd error messages and information screens". It was quite amusing to go through all the items I found when researching this topic - although I probably enjoyed this posting the most - I don't think anyone noticed it in the middle of the summer holiday though.

March 2002 was probably when I first started to take note of the smaller form-factor motherboards and the possibilities for inventive cases. Here is the story of the 'Invisible PC Case'.

Roller Coasters - day 5 To complement the Theme Park postings on the main CCS weblog the Techlog will feature roller coasters.
To end the week - for facts and information about roller coasters all over the world try the Roller Coaster Database - it has a really good search system and also includes a random ride picture on its front page.

We'd better put another 'educational' link in this week - try out the How Stuff Works site about How Roller Coasters work.

Now the technology is out of the way let's just enjoy The Ultimate Rollercoaster site which concentrates on North America but does include some European sites.
It seems that the BIG ride this year is the Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point - read more here.

We'd better start the week with the 'technology' part, these links are all about the way roller coasters work.
